Dr. A. Muruganathan, MD from Madras Medical College, Chennai is a Consultant Physician and currently, the Chairman of AG Hospital, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, India. He held the prestigious post of Governor -American College of Physicians (ACP) India Chapter (2017–2021).In recognition of his meritorius contribution in the field of medicine, he was awarded the prestigious ‘DR. B.C. ROY AWARD’ in 2005. He is the recepient of the Indian Medical Association Award for the “Medical Teacher of the Year” for the year 2014–15 in recognition of his academic services. Recently, he was bestowed with the Dr. V. Parameswara Award for Lifetime Achievement in Medicine.
